A young skater is eyeing the Olympic Winter Games — in 2022. She attends an online college preparatory academy — George Washington University Online High School — to give her the ability to compete and train on the road. Dave Price reports.
Figure skating started out as a hobby for 15-year-old Emilia Murdock, but she quickly learned that she has big dreams for competing at the Olympic level. Two years ago, Emilia enrolled in online school, enabling her to train at an elite level without sacrificing her education.
