Effective fall 2016, alumni of George Washington University, along with their extended family, may enroll students in grades 8–12 in the George Washington University Online High School (GWUOHS) through an exclusive 20% off tuition discount. This benefit may be applied to enrollment in either the full-time, diploma-granting program or part-time AP® courses.*
Alumni and their extended family may take advantage of this discount at any time during the year when applications are being accepted for either the fall or spring terms. Please note that enrollment in GWUOHS doesn't provide guaranteed or preferred acceptance into the George Washington University.

Alumni and their extended family may take advantage of two opportunities to enroll for the 2016-2017 school year as outlined below. Please note that the Fall 2016 term is applicable to this GW alumni discount program only and is not available to the general public.

**Start date varies based on ability to provide all required documentation for enrollment, including a copy of the student's transcript. In general, students can expect to start within 7-10 days from when their application is submitted.
How to Enroll
Follow the steps below to begin the enrollment process. Please reference Promo Code: GWU20OFF during Step 6 to receive this exclusive discount.
Step 1: Whether enrolling full-time or purchasing an individual AP course, all applicants must create an account and complete the online application form within the Parent Portal.
Step 2: Within 24 hours of completing the application, an enrollment coordinator will call you to discuss your candidacy and walk you through the enrollment process.
Step 3: Full-time students are required to complete the admissions package. The admissions package is broken up into four sections which can be completed and submitted online through the Parent Portal.
Step 4: Full-time high school students only should submit the $150 application fee (non-refundable). Please note that middle school enrollments and individual AP course enrollments do not require a non-refundable application fee.
Step 5: Our admissions committee will review your application and provide a decision within 2 weeks. Acceptance to our school is selective, and the quality and effort you put into your application is important. For instance, we read student essays with a sympathetic yet critical eye, and high expectations.
Step 6: Upon acceptance, please contact our office at 877.382.2015 to arrange tuition payment with an enrollment coordinator. Make sure you mention the promo code (GWU20OFF) during this process.
Step 7: After completing the previous steps, our College Counselor will schedule a conference to discuss course recommendations and transcript analysis, as needed.
